Combining two of the topics I cover here on the channel... aviation and ham radio! We're going to climb into my 1946 Aeronca Chief and try to make some ham radio contacts! I'm using my Radtel RT-470 radio with an adapter cable to hook it up to my Bose aviation headset. Let's fly up to 8-9000 ft over the Los Angeles area and see if we can reach anyone.
