TAAG Angola Airlines operated its very first Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner flight to Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport this Saturday. The flight DT650 from Luanda, was carried out by the aircraft registered as D2-TET.
This comes as the company recently secured approval from European authorities to operate this next-generation model within the EU, making Lisbon the first European route to benefit from the upgrade. From now on, TAAG has officially scheduled one of its daily flights to Lisbon to be operated by the 787-10.
The Dreamliner genuinely transforms the passenger experience. Thanks to higher cabin humidity, better pressurization, larger windows, and a much quieter cabin, flying just feels a lot more comfortable. On top of that, it’s a massive win for sustainability, burning less fuel and significantly cutting down carbon emissions.
By introducing the 787-10, TAAG is raising the bar on one of its most important international routes. It’s a direct response to the growing demand between Angola and Portugal, whether people are traveling for business, vacation, or to visit family. Ultimately, this fleet renewal is a key part of the airline's strategy to stay competitive globally and strengthen its position as one of Africa’s leading carriers.
