Welcome to our 1st Arrival into the world famous city: Dubai 🇦🇪
This will be our first time ever in the city of Dubai, one that over the recent years has grew massively with tourists due to its hyper modernisation and enjoyable luxury resorts. We are actually arriving from the capital city of Abu Dhabi in taxi as opposed to most who arrived from DXB. Arriving into a city like this is such a bucket list moment, especially when you see the world tallest building, The Burj Khalifa.
We are checking into the 5 star luxury hotel called Marriott Marquis Dubai Creek, a fancy hotel with big comfortable rooms, gym, pool and everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Our first impressions as we checked in were 10/10, unreal customer service and a beautiful lobby. Let’s say Teigan was super impressive with the room we received and the amazing view over the Dubai Creek.
After settling in, we headed straight out to explore the Dubai Creek area, famous for its heritage and cultural preservation to what many call “Old Dubai”. We took a local Abra boat from 1 AED from the Deira Transport Marine Station, which seemed to be highly efficient and a great method for locals to get across the creek.
We explored the whole area, from the souqs, old architecture, heritage culture village and local mosque and ended with a delicious Mexican bowl of food from Chipotle……🇦🇪
