Today, we commemorate the 1st Anniversary of Dimash’s guest performance at Igor Krutoy’s 65th Anniversary Jubilee Concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on October 26, 2019! More Information Below!
This was Dimash’s 3rd visit to the USA, and the concert took place just a little over a month before his first upcoming solo concert in the United States, as part of his Arnau tour, scheduled at the same venue.
This Jubilee tour commenced for the purpose of celebrating Krutoy’s 65th Birthday. The tour kicked off in New York, with additional performances in Moscow, Dubai, and Belarus, throughout the month of November that year. Dimash sang four songs during this performance in New York, including; “Love Is Like a Dream”, “Olimpico” (Ogni Pietra), “Love of Tired Swans”, and “Mademoiselle Hyde”, all of which were Igor Krutoy’s compositions.
Also performing this night, was A-Studio, the Kazakh Band, who is credited for the original 1998 composition and performance of “Sinful Passion”, and who previously accompanied Dimash on his cover performance of the same song at the New Wave Opening Ceremony in Sochi, Russia in September 2018.
While in New York, Dimash took some time to visit and tour the United Nations Complex. He also paid a visit to and became the newest ambassador for Jacob & Co.
While in town for Dimash’s performance, Dears from Dimash USA took the opportunity as well to visit the Brooklyn Academy of Music, which was the venue chosen for the Arnau concert pre-party, to take place upon Dimash’s return in December.
Before leaving New York, Dimash enthusiastically offered his parting words, “See you in December!”
