Freshly arrived at Belleville VIA station from Montreal en route to Toronto, CN 5759 (with CN 5601 behind) couldn't depart again because the traction motor on the front axle had overheated and seized. They tried moving the train forward about 1 metre but the front axle wouldn't turn, just dragged the wheels.
