hey guys!
These are my tips on how to declutter / simplify your home and how to organize your house. I'm not a full on minimalist, but I definitely am taking a more minimalist approach with what I keep in my house. I want everything I own to serve a purpose and to actually enjoy what I have. Thought I would share with you guys my top hacks on how to actually declutter your space, organize your home and use minimalism more in your life.
These organization tips are how I clean my home /how I declutter what I own and what I use for my home organization!
10 WAYS TO DECLUTTER YOUR HOME AND ORGANIZE YOUR LIFE: MINIMALISM
HOW TO DECLUTTER AND ORGANIZE YOUR HOME
1. Use pinterest to help you visualize your space: what look do you like? what organization systems do you like?
2. Come up with a color scheme. I can enjoy + think things are cute, but they don’t match my home. You can appreciate something without buying it. Sticking to one or two main colors will give your home a stylized appearance and make everything seem cohesive and organized.
3. giveaway/ sell / toss: I set up three different bags whenever I’m organizing a space.
4. Do it in stages. I’ll go through the space once, decide what I’m removing and by the time I’m done, I’m way more into getting rid of and do it again
5. What’s the use: Ask yourself what is the use of the item in question. How will you wear it? How will you use it? When will you use it? If you have no answer for any of these questions, it’s good to consider getting rid of.
6. Make the process fun: I like to set up my phone with an audiobook playing while I’m cleaning so I’m multi tasking / enjoying the process.
7. Use planners: Planners help keep you organized + help you to feel less stressed out. I have multiple planners for weekly / daily purposes.
8. Ask if you need it: When I’m organizing, I always ask myself ‘do I need it?’ Ask yourself ‘when was the last time I ACTUALLY used this?’ If you haven’t used it in over a year, you probably don’t need it in your house.
9. Organizing stops shopping: Once you feel like your home is decluttered, it will make you think twice about adding pieces back in when you’re out shopping.
10. Would you buy it again: Ask yourself if you would buy the item again. You want to be using what’s in your home but also enjoying what you already have.

HEY GUYS!
Want to get into the holiday spirit but still keep up your aesthetic? Need a one stop shop for great gifts, wrapping paper + cards? Want to make awesome holiday inspired treats but cant make everything else on pinterest because it all involves dairy?! IVE GOT YOU COVERED! Here are some of my best life hacks for christmas / the holiday season! Easy, inexpensive and they all will look great on your instagram feed.
Huge thank you to Hallmark Gold Crown for believing in my channel and supporting my content by sponsoring todays video! I only work with brands that I support, I picked out everything I showed in todays video and all of the clips shown were my idea- that is the only way I will accept a sponsor and am so thankful when I can work with a brand who supports my content so I can keep creating it for you guys!
10 HOLIDAY HACKS:
1. Convert a paper towel stand into a ribbon station while wrapping gifts! You can store all of your ribbon on the paper towel stand while you are wrapping all of your presents, keeping your space super organized + efficient! [Plus it just looks cute]
Bonus hack: Use a paper clip at the end of your decorative tape so you never lose your spot
2. Get a bag of cinnamon scented pinecones and use this as a natural air freshener in your home during the winter. It makes a room that would normally smell a little stale [hall closets, areas with shoes] like christmas!
3. One of my favorite resources for gifts is to shop at Hallmark Gold Crown because its a 1 stop shop for everything related to gifts: You can get a gift as well as everything needed to finish it off all in the same store!

Wine is like a hug in a glass sign: http://bit.ly/2xlFZcV
Jumbo lip balm: http://bit.ly/2yM2fj9
Hand cream: http://bit.ly/2lfwieu
Merry Christmas card: http://bit.ly/2gGxDJI
Wrapping paper: http://bit.ly/2iwqfRs
4. My personal favorite way to decorate is to display silver ornaments in a fruit bowl as a christmas decoration! Super instagrammable and cute, this easy trick will make your place look festive without going overboard with a ton of over the top decor.
5. Glue mini candy canes together to create place settings for a dinner party. You can put guest names if youre throwing an intimate dinner party, or you can write the name of the dish you have out if youd like to set it in front of a buffet style table [cheeses, drinks, apps etc]. Looks super festive and cute but is very inexpensive!
6. Use a command hook on the opposite side of the door where you want to hang a wreath. This way you can easily remove it from the wall, but the hook isnt showing / doesnt look cheap!
7. Make a mini Christmas snow globe for your house by putting a mini tree in a salt shaker! It looks so festive and cute!
8. Get a cute festive ice cube tray in holiday shapes [snowflakes, ornaments] and you can add this to your morning coffee to make your holiday treats feel a little bit more special. I put almond milk in the ice cube trays to be able to join in on the cuteness while still being dairy free!
9. Freeze almond milk ice cream in holiday themed christmas ornaments. Put the ice cream into hot coffee [similar to Affogato] to have a dairy free treat that looks similar to all the super cute hot chocolate / coffee pics with ice cream on pinterest!
10. Put frozen cranberries on a martini stick and add it to a glass of champagne. Looks super festive + instantly adds a holiday vibe to a night in!

ITS FINALLY HERE! Im so excited that I can FINALLY share our engagement pictures + engagement video with you guys!
We shot this video in Paris after Cody proposed. We wanted to take our engagement pictures in Paris + I obviously wanted video of it too :)
The idea for this came around because my dream wedding would be in Paris, but were both extremely close with our families and not everyone in our families could make it out for a destination wedding. We decided instead to take our engagement photos there + still get to experience celebrating together while including our families later for the actual wedding.
The photos + story are featured on Martha Stewart Weddings!

Hey guys! If you’ve seen ‘My Story’ or ‘My Break Up Story’ on youtube, you know that I’ve always been interested in the fashion and entertainment industry, but wasn’t always sure where that would take me. Fast forward to now in my life when I own my own company, I’m a fashion correspondent [E! News, Refinery29, Extra!] + I travel across the country speaking on panels about how to have your own business in social media. I’m going to share some of the top things I’ve learned throughout my years in this business, so whether your someone who wants to work in fashion or is just starting to work in more professional settings- I hope my post can help you be confident in whatever stage you’re in!
HOW TO GET WHAT YOU WANT:
1. GO AFTER WHAT YOU WANT
People always say ‘go after your dreams’ and ‘go after what you want’, but doing that in real life looks much different than in theory. Pursuing your dream is a lifestyle- not just a big decision [like moving to LA]. It requires daily actions of choosing your dreams over your comfort and often times putting in years of work before seeing any results. Be realistic with yourself about just how much work you actually have to do to make your dream a reality. I try to be very open about how much work this industry really takes, as well as where I started from- so hopefully you can be inspired that you can achieve your goals too.
2. REALLY GO AFTER WHAT YOU WANT
If you know what you want to do, figure out how you can get there. Send emails. Make phone calls. And then follow up. Find people / companies on social media, reach out to them, ask for their email address, send the emails and follow up!
3. DONT TAKE IT PERSONALLY
This tip goes hand in hand with my last one. If you don’t hear back from an email, don’t take it personally! They’re probably extremely busy and that’s the real reason they haven’t gotten back to you.
4. INVEST IN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS
You hear horror stories of people using each other only to get what they want, and unfortunately, that does happen in any industry. I want all of my readers to know that you do not have to be that person to succeed. I have placed value on real relationships throughout my entire career, and never once tried to buddy up with someone just because of their connections, or collab with them just to grow my numbers. Take interest in the people you’re surrounded with, get to know them as people and really put effort into the working relationships you have!
