Starting at noon on August 10, although the typhoon’s center had not yet moved away from Zhejiang Province, Henan Province began experiencing rainfall from its outer circulation. By the afternoon of August 11, average rainfall across Henan had reached nearly 100 millimeters within just two days. At the foot of Laole Mountain in Queshan County, extreme rainfall approached 250 millimeters. But this was only the beginning.
