Half-Orc Fighter/Assassin is a deadly combination of both skills and race. As a Fighter your Skill set is brute force, as an Assassin you rely on mastery and precision to accomplish your task at hand, and with the Half-Orc race you are smarter than an Orc and stronger than a Human of the same class combo.
Players Handbook states the Minimum/Maximum requirements:
Strength for Half-Orc is 6/18, Fighters is 9/18, Assassin is 12/18 and I rolled a 17+1
Intelligence for Half-Orc is 6/17, Fighters is 3/18, Assassin is 11/18 and I rolled a 15
Wisdom for Half-Orc is 6/14, Fighters is 6/18, Assassin is 5/16 *Thief class and I rolled a 14
Dexterity for Half-Orc is 6/17, Fighters is 6/18, Assassin is 12/18 and I rolled a 14
Constitution for Half-Orc is 13/19, Fighters is 7/18, Assassin is 6/18 and I rolled a 16+1
Charisma for Half-Orc is 6/12, Fighters is 6/18, Assassin is 3/18 and I rolled a 12-2*non Half-Orcs
