Replacing the rear brake pads on my 2002 Volkswagen Jetta.
Tools required:
- Jack or Lift
- Jackstands
- Appropriate lug wrench / adaptor
- 13mm socket, ratchet and short extension
- Pliers
- 15mm wrench
- Philips or JIS screw driver
- Caliper rewind tool
- Brake Lubrication
- Caliper hanger hook or bungi strap
Optional but helpful:
- Cordless impact gun
- Cordless ratchet
- Brake cleaner
- Rags or Paper towels
- Pry bar
- Die grinder with abrasive cookie wheel
- Hammer
