Commercial for the restaurant chain Po' Folks featuring their 25 Combos for $4.99. The chain began in 1975 and was named after the 1961 song by country singer Bill Anderson (Anderson originally intended to sue the company for trademark infringement; but relented; selling the naming rights and eventually appearing as a spokesman as seen here).
The chain prospered early and was purchased by the Krystal restaurant chain in 1982; peaking with 102 restaurants in 17 states by 1984. Unfortunately, by 1988 Po' Folks filed for bankruptcy and the restaurants were gradually sold off; while the remaining assets operated as DavCo (part of a company that franchised several Wendy's restaurants and had merged with Krystal); with 8 restaurants surviving in Alabama and Florida.
