Remember when Kathie Lee Gifford was remembered for being something other than a punchline? (Or when she wasn't seemingly trying to encourage that image; i.e.: the 4th hour of TODAY {I've personally referred to it as "Happy Hour with Hoda and Kathie Lee"; owing to the amount of wine consumed by Gifford and Hoda Kotb})
Well before that, the co-host of what was then "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee" was also a longtime spokeswoman for Carnival Cruise Lines from 1984 (shortly before hosting what started as WABC's "The Morning Show" and marrying former New York Giants great and longtime Monday Night Football announcer Frank Gifford) until early 1996.
