This video spotlights a good friend's car that I just felt is a perfect street car combination. It's a 1987 Oldsmobile 442 with the stock 180HP Olds 307 V8 replaced with a 0.030" over 455 Olds! It has C code heads that have had the heat crossovers filled and the center divider brazed, stainless steel 1-3/4" American Racing headers, Pypes stainless 2.5" dual X-pipe exhaust, a Holley Sniper EFI system, a built 2004R with a 2,800 stall coverter, and the stock 8.5" 3.73:1 rear axle. All of the suspension bushings have been replaced with polyurethane, and he has new higher rate front and rear springs. It's really a very cool car and is an absolute joy to drive on the street. I inverviewed Tim on the Hot Rod Power Tour in Joliet, Illinois. He lives in Florida, and drove the car from his home, on all 5 days of the Hot Rod Power Tour, and back home to Florida, qualifying himself as a true Long Hauler!
