Here we have a 1984 Williams Space Shuttle pinball machine in action for your viewing pleasure.

This machine is often credited with saving pinball from complete marginalization at the height of video game domination in the arcades. It has it all: speech, multiball, a ramp, flashers, fun and easy-to-understand rules and great shots. It's the full package and was released when pinball needed a fresh idea the more than ever.

Spelling SHUTTLE awards the lit reward. Locking balls at the left and/or right saucers and then sending a ball up the ramp begins one or two ball multiball.

Space Shuttle was designed by Barry Oursler and Joe Kaminkow with art by Mark Sprenger. Eurgene Jarvis and Larry DeMar also had a hand in the software and sound design.
