My buddy just bought this 1982 UM Electrek and it still runs! Starting restoration soon. The Unique Mobility Electrek is a full battery electric vehicle (EV) that was manufactured from 1979-1982 in Englewood, Colorado. Only between 60 and 80 of these vehicles were ever made and most were destroyed long ago. This was the very first production EV with regenerative braking!
