The Poly-61 is not an all-digital version of a PolySix Each synth has features the other doesn't. For example: on the Poly-61 you can tune a second oscillator slightly (for a chorus effect) or in intervals. The PolySix lacks that function but has built-in chorus, flanger or ensemble effects which are missing on the Poly-61. The X/Y joystick and 64 memory locations (instead of 32 on the PolySix) are some other improvements.
