Atari showing that they were the greatest company ever. Most commercials that mentioned "Coin Video Games" implied that their home systems were just as good, but not Atari- they wanted you to go out and play theirs! And of course you COULD do practical stuff on their computers- but you all know they were still the best for games!
First spot aired in November 1981 before the ABC Movie presentation of "Close Encounters", the second in February 1982 before Superman (commercial breaks after the intro but before the movies started, thankfully these were recorded complete.)
