Penny Junor reports from the grounds of Blenheim Palace, where members of the Benson Veteran Cycle Club are demonstrating an impressive collection of Ned Passey's vintage velocipedes, bicycles, tricycles and quadracycles.
Vehicles featured include the Coventry Machinists Company's 1880 Cheylesmore, Willard Sawyer's velocipede, James Starley's 1878 velocipede, the Monarch tandem, the American Star Cycle, and all manner of assorted boneshakers, sociables, tandems and penny-farthings.
