The RAES were married couple Robbie and Cherrill who hosted their own summer CBC Vancouver television series in 1978 followed by another longer series in 1979. Here ventriloquist and puppeteer Shari Lewis is joined by her dogs for Karen and Richard’s hit song “SING” which actually was written by staff songwriter Joe Raposo for the children’s TV series Sesame Street! Prior to Shari, popular teen brothers Tom and John, the Keane Brothers, sang Boz Scaggs’ beautiful wistful ballad “We’re All Alone,” a Top 10 hit by Rita Coolidge in 1977.
