From 1975, the last year in the USA that the German Opel was available in the USA. From that point forward, Opel was just a name used by Buick on the Japanese Assembled Isuzu. The German Mark became so high, it made no sense to continue importing to the USA. Buick could use the Isuzu which was the same car and much cheaper to Import.
