At the 2026 Shell Rotella SuperRigs Truck Show in Bristol, Virginia, we caught up with Kevin Hylton from Castlewood, Virginia and his incredible 1975 Brockway U360.

This rare Brockway is powered by a 12-cylinder twin-turbo Detroit Diesel backed by a 13-speed transmission. Kevin’s dad bought the truck new, later sold it, and years later Kevin found what was left of it and brought it back home for a full restoration.

In this interview, Kevin shares the history of Brockway, the story behind restoring his dad’s old truck, the rare factory details, the swing-out fenders, the original green Brockway interior, and what this truck did back in its working days hauling coal, heavy equipment, and even grossing over 200,000 pounds on a short move.
