We are excited to partner with our friends at Cinema Rediscovered to present a new season of five seminal films from 1971 to be launched at July’s Festival, with the package touring cinemas nationwide from August.
Following the success of Easy Rider in the late 60s, Hollywood gave the green light to outsiders, mavericks and cultural renegades. In 1971, it all kicked off.
The season will be headlined by the late, great Monte Hellman's masterpiece Two-Lane Blacktop and will also feature McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Five Easy Pieces, Klute, and The Last Picture Show.
