This is the 2nd part of the brake upgrade & shows installing 1997-2004 C5 Corvette front 12.81" rotors and twin piston calipers onto my 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass S restomod. In episode 26 I installed a CPP Electric Brake Booster Kit for 1964-74 AFX (Part # 6474EBK-SB). This installation uses Kore3 Industries' "Big-brake bracket kit front, GMSS" and their Pre-Configured FlexKORE™ 3 line front C5/C6 conversion brake line kit plus rear axle drop braided hose kit. I also used Duralast aluminum C5 Disc Brake Caliper part #18-B4702 (right caliper) and part #18-B703 (left caliper) from Autozone. The hubs are Classic Performance OE Drum Brake Hub Kits 6474HK-OE from Summit Racing Equipment. The brake pads are Hawk Performance HPS 5.0 Brake Pads for 1997-2013 CORVETTE, 2005-2006 GTO, 2004-2009 XLR - part #HB247B.575 from Summit Racing Equipment. The brake rotors are Summit Racing™ Extreme Performance Coated Brake Rotors for 1997-2004 CORVETTE, 2004-2009 XLR - part 3SUM-BRC-62059PR. The longer wheel studs are Moser Engineering Wheel Studs 8259, also from Summit Racing Equipment.
