This is silent 8mm amateur movie film of a campaign stop in Oregon by Bobby Kennedy, supported by former astronaut and future Ohio senator, John Glenn. The film was probably taken on May 25, 1968 at the Gateway Shopping Center near Portland.
Since the film is silent, I added the audio from the final portion of a speech which Kennedy had given to the City Club of Cleveland Ohio on April 5, 1968, the day after Martin Luther King was assassinated. I have not removed any words from this final portion of his speech, but I did remove many of his very long pauses in order to make the audio fit the length of film available.
