Here's another great restoration by me, Tom Maruska. This is the maiden voyage of my freshly restored 1964 Amphicar. This video was produced by my friend and renowned Hollywood editor Kris Trexler. Kris worked in the film industry many years and edited many sitcoms such as All in the Family, Last Man Standing, Ellen and Tool Time to name a few. He flew to my home in Duluth Minnesota specifically for a ride in my Amphicar and I was very fortunate to have him produce this video. It was September 26, 2023. The Portions of the video with the Amphicar alone in the water were taken by my friend Jim Finn who was on a pontoon boat nearby, and Kris incorporated them into the video. Many thanks to both of you!
