I bought this car from the second owner in 2003. Drove it for a couple of years and then got distracted by a few motorcycles, a Miata track car, the economy changing, etc. In the meantime, the ethanol-laced fuel went bad and I had to remove the tank, carbs, and fuel pump, to clean everything out. While at it, I decided to install an electric fuel pump. The original mechanical pump wasn't a great design, and a bunch of them have failed on my various Corvairs over the decades. Anyway, here's the old girl being brought back to life. Hopefully she'll be cruising the streets again soon.
