These are some neat records that I found at Archie McPhee. They are original vintage 1962 souvenir post cards that doubled as promotional records from the Seattle Expo. Here I give a quick demonstration of how they worked.
As you can see the quality has gotten very bad over the years, plus the cardboard has warped. Still a very cool thing.

So I actually managed to flatten that Totoro disk. Turns out about fifty or sixty pounds of pressure and patience flattened it right out!
