This is 8mm silent film of the Century 21 Exposition, also known as the 1962 Worlds Fair in Seattle. It comes from a private collection, but was probably purchased at the fair. It does a great job of showing many scenes from the fair, and gives a nice, concise overview of what it must have been like to be there.
You will see some great shots from the Space Needle showing what Seattle looked like in 1962. You will also see the "ElectriCab" which was a fleet of electric cars which ferried people around the fairgrounds.
The original film had faded to red, but I was able to recover some of the original color. I also digitally enhanced the film by removing dirt, stabilizing the footage, and providing a little sharpening.
