While speaking with John, he mentioned: This Baume & Mercier was presented by Buffalo Bills founder Ralph Wilson to his father, Paul Edwin Neville of the Buffalo Evening News. Engraved “PEN–Buffalo Bills–Christmas 1965,” it commemorates the year the Bills won their second consecutive AFL Championship. John shared that his father Paul welcomed Wilson to Buffalo in 1959 and helped introduce him to the city while Wilson was considering a new AFL franchise. Wilson ultimately chose Buffalo, and Paul and Ralph remained lifelong friends.
