On the 14th of August 1957, just one week after Oliver Hardy died, Arthur B Friedman interviewed Stan Laurel at his home in Santa Monica. The interview is over an hour long. This is part 1. In this segment Stan tells us how he and Oliver Hardy met for the first time and how a nasty accident involving a leg of lamb resulted in the eventual teaming of Laurel and Hardy.
