There ended up being more talking than sewing in this. So it's sort of a vlog/pattern review. But if you want to see how I made a delightful neon monkey printed dress then you should definitely watch it!

Things I would change: As mentioned in the video, my major change would be removing the darts from the back and taking the back panel in by an inch and a half, along with raising the hem by two inches.
I also forgot to mention it, but the neckline of mine turned out being kind of cowl necked, rather than taught across the shoulders. Which I actually really like! But it's different than the patterns image.
The hem length IS accurate the the patterns image. It was just unflattering on me, and I assumed it was meant to be shorter. So that wasn't a valid critique - my mistake! Also a better petticoat would make it appear shorter, since it would have more volume.
