This video replays film footage from the 27th edition, original Rose Bowl game between the #7 Nebraska Cornhuskers (8-1) and the #2 Stanford Indians (9-0) on December 31st, 1941. Some portions are in color and include the original play by play commentary. Stanford entered as champions of the Pacific Coast Conference while the Cornhuskers were champions of the Big Six Conference. This would be Stanford's 7th appearance in the Rose Bowl Game and Nebraska's 1st bowl appearance in program history.
The 1941 Rose Bowl remains the only meeting between Stanford and Nebraska.
