Back in 2013, this was the second song I ever created, with an iPad and Apples ~5€ Garageband.
As a Meris New Years Special, I uploaded this video on January 1st, 2014. Back then, 720p videos were the norm, 60FPS didnt exist yet, hence the original video I uploaded back then was 720p30fps; I upscaled the video to 4K, gotten rid of some of the artifacts, and enhanced only few parts.
The reason I chose 4K is to get the better Youtube codec. The other codec creates more artifacts, especially in fast-moving videos, and Black is not really Black, but displayed in a rather medium to light grey, as opposed to the better codec.
Unfortunately, I dont possess the original video files anymore, hence I couldnt render it out in a higher resolution, but I could get a hold of the original file I uploaded to Youtube back in the day, thanks to Google TakeOut, and I also used the original WAV-file of this song to render it out with.
In case I ever get a hold of my original files on a very old broken HDD, I might render it out again, but then with the best possible quality :)
