A textbook day for our parent birds. The rate of feeding seems to have gone up a notch today, the insects being fed to the chicks are bigger and there seems to be more caterpillars being brought in. With more coming in there's also more going out!

Our five chicks are developing well. It's now possible to see their ears, there's tiny little openings in the centre of their eyes, there's little tufts of feathers on the top of their heads and wing feathers are starting to come in. The top of the chicks are darkening up and they're much less pink. One boisterous chick was even giving it's newly blue wings a stretch.
