Past meets present. We took a poem from an 18th century poet and combined it into a production using the @ArturiaOfficial MicroFreak, DrumBrute Impact, @ModalElectronics Cobalt5s, @behringer Model D, @SingularSoundOfficial Aeros Loop Studio, @HologramElectronics Microcosm, and several @strymon pedals.
It started out with a beat from the DrumBrute Impact which was controlling the tempo of the Aeros Looper. The MicroFreak initially played an arpeggio into the Aeros, then followed additional sounds from the MicroFreak for the initial beat performance. Afterwards Meems combined lyrics from "The Meteor" by Hannah Flagg Gould and wrote a lead vocal inspired by being a meteor.
The bass was the Model D, played a few weeks after the initial beat was recorded. Finally some extra synth layers were added with the Cobalt5s.
The vocoder sound was from Ableton Live, using two of the Cobalt5s passes to add other worldly textures into the mix.
