Part 7 of the Flossmann widebody install series is here, and this one is all about our 2026 wheel and tire setup
Chris is officially going back to 18s, and honestly… I don’t think I’ve seen him this excited in a minute. But what he’s really pumped about are the all-new Vitour Sonic tires we’re running this season.
The Vitour Sonic is a 100 treadwear extreme performance tire, designed specifically for track use. These tires are built to deliver maximum grip, fast heat-up times, and consistent performance lap after lap, exactly what you want when you’re pushing the car to its limits. They feature an aggressive tread pattern for improved cornering stability and a stiff sidewall design to help with responsiveness and driver feedback on track. Safe to say… we’re VERY excited to test these out this season.
On the wheel side, Chris is going back to his Forgeline wheels, and thankfully having a 3-piece setup made things a lot easier, just swapping barrels on two of them instead of starting from scratch.
We are officially ONE MONTH OUT from our first event at Carolina Motorsports Park with Gridlife, and the excitement is definitely building. Still a ton to do, but it’s all starting to come together.
