Welcome to another episode of Sailing and Electronics. In this video we are going to show the use of a fume extractor for soldering, and why it is a good idea for your health.
Especially when soldering alot, eg. battery packs for a powerwall.
The item used is a Chinese copy, but since the simplicity of such a device, I'm confident in my choice. If you like DIY, it is very easy to make one yourself. All you need is a powerfull pc fan and a carbon filter.
