In video 1856 I'll discuss why I think breaking picks is completely normal. In fact, I once destroyed SIX picks trying to pick open a SINGLE challenge lock - and ultimately gave up. Of course, it contained "super springs" taken out of Bic lighters, but still... Broken picks is really nothing out of the ordinary, so you shouldn't get too upset about it.
