Launched in January of 2018, designer Alex Chin’s kickstarter campaign for the virtues and sentiments decks funded almost immediately totalling a staggering $184,000 in crowdfunding. The standard decks come packaged in hand-crafted embossed tuck cases featuring floral patterns printed on matte black backgrounds. Private Reserve black and white label decks were also offered.
The cards are completely custom, and feature two main choices, either white cards or black ones. The index font for the decks is classic and serifed. The pips, although instantly recognizable, are uniquely shaped. The court cards feature the same framing border found on the card backs and are renaissance inspired
The cards are printed by the USPCC and all the editions handle great except the white label decks, which can be forgiven, since they are hand gilded in gorgeous orange and purple respectively.
