1815 “Homage to Walter Lange” - Auctioned in Geneva May, 13th 2018 @alangesoehne

The 1815 “Homage to Walter Lange” in stainless steel with a black enamel dial has been successfully auctioned off by Phillips for the benefit of the children’s charity foundation Children Action. The one-of-a-kind timepiece went under the hammer for an unbeatable price of CHF 852,500 (US$ 852,414; € 713,627; incl. buyer’s premium) on 13th May 2018 in Geneva. It was produced only once which makes it as unique as the man whose name it bears. Its classic dial is complemented with a historically inspired technical feature: a jumping seconds hand.
