Manchmal zieh ich durch die Strassen in der Nacht,

Alles glänzt so schön, doch der Verfall ist offenbar.
Ein schaler Geschmack bleibt bei jedem Schritt zurück.

[Verse 1 - The Shattering: The Fall of Order]
The hammer once fell heavy on the altar of light,
Banishing the sun to rest in eternal night.
The queen in her madness turned a ring to dust,
Trading all her gold for a crown of rust.

And the actors of divinity started to turn insane.
[Verse 2 - The Tarnished: Arrival]
Across the vast fields where the Earth still bleeds
A nameless wanderer sows the first seeds.
