If you protect Rafa and get Marquis Elmdor or either of his two Assassins HP to critical, then the battle is won. Finish this battle as quickly as possible because their attacks are pretty nasty.

Battle 32: Roof of Riovanes Castle
{Barinten is facing Rafa on the roof of the castle}
Barinten: Fool! This is what I get? Revenge for kindness!? Why do you think you're even still alive today! Because of me! I took you out of the garbage! Or did you forget that already?
Rafa: Revenge for kindness? You burned the village! You are the one who killed my parents! And you say it's revenge for kindness? No...it's justice!
{Rafa draws her sword, Barinten holds out a gun and points it at her}
Barinten: Justice? How can you kill me? I'm your father. I raised you! I'd like to see you try and kill me!
{Pause as they face each other}
Barinten: Hya, ha! You can't...And do you know why? Because your body recalls the terror...Don't worry...that terror will gradually subside. Hya, ha, ha.
Malak: Is that true?!!
{Malak walks out on the roof}
Malak: Is what you said true?
Barinten: You're turning on me, too? You're both ingrates!
Rafa: I'll kill you!!
Malak: Stop it! Rafa!!
{Malak runs and pushes Rafa out of the way of Barinten's line of fire. At the same time, Barinten shoots and Malak gets shot in the process}

{Rafa takes the Scorpio stone out of Malak's pocket. At the same time, a female Assassin walks up behind Barinten}

{The Assassin throws Barinten in the air off the roof. Barinten dies.}
{Another female assassin and Marquis Elmdor walk up to the roof by the other assassin}

Ramza: M...Marquis Elmdor. Why are you here.....?
{Rafa puts the Scorpio stone in her pocket}

Ramza: Rafa! Watch out!! They are not human!
