Frozen Strawberries are surprisingly easy to eat, as they do not freeze hard like water (if your freezer isn't super cold, that is...).

With sugar-free chocolate topping or sugar-free syrup on the still frozen berries, one can eat one berry at a time with a spoon. It will generally have the texture of a frozen fruit bar one can buy at the grocery.

I've also tried frozen fruit mixed with cottage cheese and/or Greek yogurt - both together or alone - for a great creamy taste. Even if the berries are "super-solid" frozen, placing them in a bowl, then placing the topping on them will allow the berries to become enjoyably edible in just a couple of minutes.

This has become my go-to low cal dessert because it is so chewy, filling and tasty, if you like strawberries, that is.... I've tried frozen blueberries, frozen peaches, etc... but strawberries are best in my book, albeit frozen mixed fruit isn't bad either ---- and you don't have to worry too much about the seasonality thing like you do in the fresh fruit section of the grocery store.
