I admit that the extra iterations I tried out are way too intense compared to the mischief of the original version. Chalk this up to another learning experience. I was picturing how the cave would look like with remastered graphics, how Nintendo might make the environment more atmospheric and immersive. I had the idea that enemies would lurk in the shadows as Link slowly makes his way through the caves. As he progresses, the situation intensifies as monsters ambush him, until the larger foes spring their trap on him.
Anyways, like Dungeon Passageways, you can cut up the phrases and use only a select amount for each cave, depending on its size, layout, to best fit the mood. A semi-modular design for the cues.
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening - Orchestral Arrangement
Arrangement and fan art by Jeremiah Sun
Original Composers
Kazumi Totaka
Minako Hamano
Kozue Ishikawa
Original Theme by Koji Kondo
You can buy this game for 3DS from the Nintendo eShop
