Found this cave in the eastern part of the Snowfield near the lake. Seems alright at first... Snails. Then you drop down and get eviscerated by wolves and Black Knife assassins, and MORE snails and then have to deal with a challenging set of Godskin bosses.
The trick I found to pass the bottom path was to defeat the first few wolves. One snail hides to the east around a tree near the wall. The other snail is to the west, a little further back, down a small ledge against the wall. You can run up to them and give them a moment to ensure they summon their assassin summons, then quickly defeat the snail, removing any associated wolves and assassins. Repeat for the other. This way, the summons don't get into a non-death animation lock and stay alive despite their masters being killed.
