Step into a miniature world!
Located in the historic Sifang Locomotive Factory 1900 Park, the Changming Dynamic Train Model Layout is Qingdao's first of its kind—an interactive N-scale model railway covering 16 square meters with 8 active tracks.
It features iconic Chinese trains like the Fuxing CR400AF, Hexie locomotives, and Dongfeng diesels, dashing through tunnels, bridges, and slopes.
Unveiled during the 2025 Qingdao Lantern Festival, this exhibit is part of the trial opening of the CRRC Sifang Heritage Museum, which commemorates China's industrial milestones—such as the birth of the first domestically-built steam locomotive in 1952.
Here, train enthusiasts of all ages bring their own models to run, connect, and dream big—right where Chinese rail innovation began.
