Today marks 15 years of Ashland Leather. To celebrate this milestone, we pulled out all the stops for Part 3 of our XV Anniversary Limited Release, featuring one of the rarest builds we have ever executed: a 100% Green Shell Cordovan Briefcase.
Large, pattern-sized pieces of Shell Cordovan are nearly impossible to come by, let alone matched shells in Horween's elusive Green Shell. Skip Horween held onto these massive shells for over a year so we could craft two of these holy-grail briefcases. Lined with Horween Essex leather, fitted with a shell cordovan and pit-tanned horsebutt strap, and stamped with our XV Anniversary logo, this is only the second full Shell Cordovan briefcase we have ever produced.
