A giant 15-foot wooden Trojan Horse was parked in front of the Ontario legislative assembly, symbolizing the “hidden threat of their plans to privatize hospital surgeries.”

As part of their province-wide tour, CUPE’s Ontario Council of Hospital Unions and the Ontario Health Coalition launched a campaign at Queen’s Park on Friday, calling for an end to ongoing privatization of hospital surgeries and diagnostic tests in Ontario, and demanding the government invest significantly in staffing and capacity in public hospitals.
