Most universities follow a set path. 150 years ago, we decided to build our own. But the real story isn’t about the milestones we’ve hit. It’s about the "what ifs" we'll answer going forward.

In 1876, Johns Hopkins first put researchers and students in the same room. It was a relatively new idea that turned knowledge from a static goal into a constant, evolving beginning.

Today, that same "start-up" energy drives everything we do. Whether we're tackling global policy, exploring better health, or connecting cultures across our global campuses, we aren't just looking for answers. We’re looking for the next big challenge.

Because after a century and a half, we’ve learned one thing: The most important discoveries happen when you refuse to stop looking.
