Well this is certainly a frustrating lock. Not only was it a lot of work to get the tailpiece off which I did off camera but then picking it on camera was particularly hard and then after I got it picked up and I couldn't remove the core with or without the key. So if anyone has any advice on how I can get this lock I would really appreciate it.
Update I was finally able to get the core out of the lock. I'll be releasing an update video soon.
