Santa Cruz, California (KRON4) — The 15-year-old suspect and Madyson Middleton lived in the same apartment complex, according to police. The identity of the suspect has not yet been released due to his age.
The Coroner’s Office has been on scene all night, but plan on moving the child’s body soon.
A news conference is planned for later this morning, KRON 4 will carry it live.

UPDATE 11:17 P.M.: Police say there are no other suspects in the case, and they have not touched the body.
